4th International workshop on Acoustic and Radio EeV Neutrino detection Activities - ARENA 2010

Tuesday, June 29 (2 pm), to Friday, July 2 (noon) 2010

hosted by SUBATECH, a laboratory from CNRS-IN2P3 / Ecole des Mines de Nantes / Université de Nantes, France.

Presentation

ARENA 2010 is the 4th edition of the workshop on the detection of ultra-high energy neutrinos and cosmic rays via radio or acoustic methods. The aim of the conference will be to review the state of the art of the technique as well as of the theoretical predictions of fluxes, and to discuss future prospects in this field. The workshop will bring together theorists and experimentalists to present the latest and most relevant theoretical and experimental results.

ARENA 2010 follows the previous meetings:

The conference should be organized in plenary sessions, but according to the need we could envisage the organization of parallel sessions. The program will cover topics in:

A preliminary agenda will be circulated as soon as possible.

The sessions of the conference will be held in the morning and afternoon, structured around short presentations (~ 15’) and longer invited presentations (~ 30’), followed by breaks of questions and answers. Poster presentations will be possible during each coffee break on the conference venue. The publication of the proceedings by Elsevier is envisaged. The length of the manuscripts will be 8 pages for 30’ oral presentations and 4 pages for all other contributions. We invite you to submit a paper/abstract to the conference.
